Topic 2 - Porthcothan is a special place to many people

My family and I spent many happy holidays at Porthcothan, at Bay House Hotel, which sadly is no more. It was run by the Kirbys if I remember correctly and then by Peter and Audrey Davies. We are talking about 1970 to 1976 when we changed to Peter and Audrey's house in Trevone where we holidayed. We now live in permanently in North Cornwall. So we have a special feeling for Porthcothan Bay and wish to join with the residents against this development.
