Situation (see no 2 on map below)
Penlan is ideally situated midway between Newquay and Padstow both of which are about a day's walk away so we are very popular with people walking the coast path. We are within easy walking distance of the coast path, beach, shop, bus stop and phone box (no mobile signal in the valley) (jump to map) - all about 2 or 3 minutes easy walk. The local pub (a free house), the Tredrea Inn (01841 520450) is about 7 or 8 minutes walk and serves food most of the year.

Accommodation
Penlan is a 1930's bungalow in which the front two adjoining rooms have been made into a private modern, comfortable self-contained unit (but not self catering) with it's own front door and small hallway. Accommodation comprises of an en-suite double bedroom (shower and toilet) together with the second room which is used for breakfasts, lounging and can sleep an additional two people if needed.

Breakfast
We try to serve up what you want when you want it and favour organic local produce whenever possible. Eggs are almost always from our own organic free range hens.
